INSURANCE

Kelly Rein and Kind Heart Therapy is an out-of-network provider, which means that a superbill (receipt of your payment) will be provided for the client to submit to insurance for reimbursement. Preferred Provider Organization plans (PPO’s) or Out Of Network (OON) benefits allow you to receive full or partial reimbursement (which many times is 40-80% of the allowable rate). Please contact your insurance for more information.

To confirm your benefits, call the number on the back of your health insurance card to ask if you have out-of-network benefits for psychotherapy. Some helpful questions to ask include:

  • Does my health insurance plan include out-of-network mental health benefits?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet? (Also ask them to explain how deductibles work if you are unfamiliar with the process).
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
  • How do I submit claims, my superbill, for reimbursement?

RATES

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

The KAP model that I offer is more affordable and accessible model. Compared to the medical-based ketamine clinics, the cost of treatment with Journey Clinical is 1/3 of the cost of clinic-base care. Although the medical intake and follow ups are not covered by insurance, they are eligible for out-of-network reimbursement. To check your out-of-network benefits, you can book a call with the Journey Clinical Care Advocacy Team or you can send us a secure message with a photo of the front and back of your insurance card. After meeting with our medical team, you’ll see an option to create a superbill on the Appointments page of your portal. You can then submit your superbill to your insurance company. Prescription is dependent upon eligibility. Both consultations are fully refundable if you’re not found eligible for treatment.
